Wheat – TAM 115

TAM 115 is also a tough wheat. It is widely adapted for the Southern Plains and growing in popularity. It has good milling and baking characteristics along with large seed and quick grain fill. Although it does well under optimum conditions, it is wheat for dryland and limited irrigation.

This is a newer variety that is derived from TAM 112 and a TAMU experimental that gives it the toughness of TAM 112 with better standability. It has resistance to leaf rust, stripe rust, stem rust, green bugs, and wheat curl mite, which means resistance to wheat streak mosaic.

This is a PVPA variety. The rights are owned by Watley Seed Company.
